Our Story
One of my fondest memories as a child was shooting guns with my Grandfather in the meadow behind my Great Aunt Mabel's country home in New England. After each session, I loved to load up the old coffee can with the spent brass to be taken home and reloaded.
Fast forward a few years (or... a few decades). My fascination with firearms and shiny brass has developed into a passion for repurposing once fired casings into top quality bullet pens. Custom Casings specializes in Cerakote application; an extremely durable, high quality ceramic coating commonly applied to firearms. The brass used in the production of our .308 and .50 caliber pens has been previously military fired. Each casing has a story to tell, and we believe that by repurposing these casings as pens ("reloading" with ink) and other products, we are doing a small part to help our environment by keeping them out of our landfills and by putting them into your hands with ink flowing to continue that story.
